We all experience challenges throughout the various stages of our lives.

How we choose to approach these difficulties will determine how meaningful and rewarding our lives become.

Psychological therapy can help us to understand why we sometimes struggle to overcome certain challenges. By working together I can support you to learn new skills to manage these difficulties as they arise. This will enable you to take action and focus on what is most important to you.

About Nick

Dr Nick Mooney, CPsychol.

Clinical Psychologist based in Central London.

I am an HCPC registered clinical psychologist offering brief, focused, and evidence-based psychological assessment and therapy services to clients in Central London.

I have experience working with clients across a broad age range who can present with a variety of behavioural and psychological difficulties. In addition to common mental health concerns, I also work with people who are struggling with an emotional or interpersonal situation that is getting in the way of a meaningful and rewarding life.

How Nick Can Help

I have experience in delivering a number of assessment and psychological therapy methods. These include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Applied Behavioural Management.

My approach is one of collaboration and guidance  so that you can become aware of what is maintaining your difficulties. Once this is understood I can help you to learn specific techniques to manage your difficulties and take steps towards the activities and relationships in life that are important to you.

I aim to be as flexible as possible in meeting my clients therapeutic needs. I am a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
